One day in May

I'm doing design/planning on a house in my usual neighborhood. The old house is a tear down and the new one will be the guest house of the adjacent property. I'm hoping to get it sited and graded so that the two parcels feel like one place. I met with the builder of the new house. He seemed very interested and helpful. This is a view of the house to be demoed, from the adjacent property, and the other way. I've cleared a lot of the understory in the second shot. jc

  2. 1) You have a website?
    2) Sounds like a huge but creatively inspiring project. Great!
Which house are we looking at in top pic? The demo looks really big, true? Not historic, I hope? Hope the synergy with builder continues will make project much more fun.

  3. Mulled it around a bit and think I've answered my which-house question. Had to mentally "put myself there." and then I got it.

  4. The demo is the top pic. It's a small ranch built in the 50s or 60s and in very poor shape.I generally favor re-hab but this one is shot. Saw the builder today and he had spoken to the owner. sounds promising.
