One Day in Summer

Welcoming entrance.

Formal color

Informal color
Formal and informal garden design emphasizing color at one large property on Cape Cod, on one day in August. There are annuals, and perennials which flower in sequence over the summer. The informal garden, designed to look like a bed of wildflowers, overlooks the water. I also designed the entrance gates. jc

Color

I haven't posted in a while. Spring projects. I think I post a photo like this one every year. A greenhouse at The Farm full of impatiens. I just think it's beautiful. jc

red

I was thinking I would have a nice big project to photograph through the summer; a work in progress blog. But I don't, so I guess I will just post pretty pictures of my work. Can you see the fading of one colored impatiens into another? Warm pink into cool pink. It looks good live. jc
