Other things

  • This is from the review of "Bye Bye Birdie" in the February 14 edition of the Cape Cod Times:
  • Albert Peterson (J C Stahl) dancing his way through "Put on a Happy Face," with moves paying homage to vaudeville, Fred Astaire and even a snippet of Bob Fosse. Outstanding. Stahl, a veteran dancer at Mid-Cape Ballet and Cape Cod Dance Center, has that grace that makes it impossible to take your eyes off him in this number — both when he's dancing and making faces to cheer up a glum teenager (who was also a lovely dancer). Stahl brings to mind Steve Carell from "The Office" and, for you baby boomers, Ken Berry as Capt. Wilton Parmenter in "F Troop."
  • I felt the need to share.

  1. And let's not forget the Chronicle reviewer who found your style a homage to Gene Kelly too!
