Finally the flowers have appeared. The oriental lilies are not out yet, so I will just have to put them into separate posts. The petunias in the front gardens are climbing right through the roses. The hydrangeas did not flower this year. I cut them back too far I guess. I may put in a shorter variety. jc

Sorry, I was thinking to ask you about begonias and spaced petunias. Question: what are those colorful flowers you often see in flower boxes that have sort of a sticky feeling to them? Are those begonias?
ReplyDeleteI think you are thinking of petunias.You used to have to deadhead them which was a sticky mess. Now you can get what are called wave petunias which just get ever larger and keep blooming. Those are what are growing right up through the roses by the front door.
