Finally got started on a new water feature. I'll show progress photos.
Had a nightmare with the wall. Mason decided his estimate was off by about, oh... 100%. Made me physically ill. Through goodness and generousity of owner it was resolved. I'm sure it will be nice, but now I just want it over. Will post photos if it also. jc
Wow. Sorry to hear that. Hope that mason isn't the only game in town. Write them up on Angie's List so others won't be unpleasantly surprised. such business practice is unwise in this well-connected society. Word gets around...
ReplyDeleteIMHO, he's also a fool because a solid working relationship with you would have given him future biz. Bottom line, you're better off without him. Just wish he hadn't spoiled the project for you. The plans were awesome. Glad to hear the homeowner is awesome too.
