Seated ribbon
Progress shots for the figure that will be perched on the concrete column visible in the back. Much more difficult to make than I anticipated. Very awkward to manipulate. jc
Just moving it around to form it. Since it isn't (rouhgly) straight it wants to spin around so that the base is always down. And it just falls off the pedestal. I have made the footing so now I can set it on the footing and fit it to the column. I hope. But it's too windy today for me to open the garage doors, so maybe tomorrow. jc
What made this one awkward? Trying to get the piece to bend with balance?? Really cool. Can't wait to see it!!!
